I am a senior in College and I have been interviewed Twice (I know its Sad but twice) for my schools chapter.but due to politics I was not chosen for membership even with all the requirements. Guess my real question is, is it worth it to go Grad chapter? Do you get any respect from the undergrad members because you went grad and didn’t pledge at the school that you came from?
NOT A NUPE but Let’s be honest, if the members of org XYZ on your yard did not chose you and you were eligible for membership two times now, this org may not be for you, especially if you can easily see that they don’t want you. Pledging grad chapter for some orgs is one of the most disrespectful things to do if you try to come around said yard again, they have clearly shown they dont think you would be a good candidate to represent their organization, but if KAPsi is still in your heart, dont let anything get in your way. Just know your place. Those of us whom have "Earned" their letters tend be a bit judgmental of those who did not, so your respect would come from the undeniable contributions you make to your org. No one can take that away from you.
