What is a fraternity/sorority?

I am thinking of joining a fraternity as i am going into college and i need more information please

A fraternity and sorority are groups of people who are basically networking for the future. It is an organization on your campus that you party sometimes but take care of a lot of business and are very fun. However they cost a bit of money and take a lot of time.

    all i know is they party alot!

    but if i was you i would look online at the college because they show pictures and say the personality of the fraternity

    but you have to be a sophmore or junior at the earliest to join
