    @monsieurmitosis Even the woman in this video indirectly implies that the incident made her stronger and allowed her to consider her behavior, and choose a better path, a path of family, work, home, instead of the shady, immoral path of alcohol, casual sex, crime, that we can assume she was on her way of choosing by attending these parties where girls are a minority and everybody knows what guys do to them. She was dumb but she wasn’t that dumb. This incident definitely taught her a lesson

    @monsieurmitosis I don’t intend to understate the sufferings of people who are victims of actual rape, where the perpetrator wants to hurt his victim, but most of these rapes today are just cases where women have casual sex when they’re drunk, and regret it afterwards, and start blaming the man in their spasm of anger. This seems to be another case of such quantity.

    this woman is wrong, drug offenses are much worse than a rape, rape might even be a good thing for the “victim” on the long run, because it teaches her to control her behavior in years to come… Drugs on the other hand destroy people’s lives, often small children’s lives, and many of them die at a young age, while the raped adult is lucky enough to continue her life and build a family and live happily ever after like the woman in this vid. The rapist had a much worse punishment for his deeds

Ppl get blinded by anger and wanting revenge and that leads us to want to punish and destroy another life by throwing them in prison for decades, which doesnt do any good for anyone. Holding anger inside, never forgiving and not letting someone change only destroys us. Justice must be done, but revenge does nothing. The victim has every right to never forgive, but its a of a burden and actually destroys your health physically and emotionally. 10 yrs wont solve shit

    @Sanquinity Its terrible that it took so long but ppl sometimes have to sit on their guilt before they do the right thing and apologize. Many never see what they did was wrong. ppl can change…it doesnt change what he did or make him a good person, but an apology & wanting to make it right has to count for something right? even if its a very very small something. So u dont think he shouldve apologized cuz it was too late? Having an unforgiving heart will only kill you and changes nothing else.

    @markvanslam He comes to her TWENTY YEARS LATER to finally say sorry! So no, I don’t think anyone should give him ANY credit! Had he come out and apologized the same year, or when they were still in school, then yes. But not like this!

    God I am glad that fraternities don’t exist here in the Netherlands. At most we have social groups hanging out with each other during school hours.

    I do think its good that he at least has begun to understand what he did and try to make amends. I dont like the guy, but I do believe people can change and although she has the right to never forgive the guy, I give him an ounce of credit for trying to do right. I mean should he just keep his mouth shut if he wants to make amends?

I dont hate everyone who has ever joined a frat but the false hierarchy of power and culture of male dominance within many of these organizations are terrible “values” for young people to be exposed to. I think its sad that so many people feel that they have to conform to a group in order to have people who care about you. Im a young man my self & the herd mentality in these groups on campuses sucks. Why dont we actually treat each other like “brothers” and “sisters”?
