One of my favorite Van Beuren Studios cartoons. Van Beuren cartoons were never that funny but usually very cute and colorful like this one is.

    It’s not entirely …
    It’s not entirely greek. It’s Roman so far as Mercury instead of Hermes and in that part the accents have a place.

    This was actually …
    This was actually the next-to-last cartoon released from Van Beuren Studios. They were shut down in 1936, the year that this cartoon was released, because their distributor, RKO Radio Pictures, switched from Van Beuren to Disney to become their distributor of animated shorts.
