This was a request from Starsnrockets88. This video is based on my experience joining a sorority and is all about the greek life at my college. Not all colleges are the same but the general information like rush week (in order to meet each sororities at your college), getting a bid (in order to pledge) and having to pledge (to join a sorority) is all the same.     @lifeislove011 I pledged with 10 girls (I go to a medium sized school) and all of us went to everything and showed a lot of interest and only one girl did not get a bid who really wanted one and went to everything (but that was for personal reasons) and a lot of girls would go to one or two things so they did not get bids. Certain sororities are more selective than others, but if you show that you are interested and really go to everything they host you should most likely get one.

    @wwuli Since my sorority is recognized and when you have a position you do learn a lot about giving presentations and such because you have to talk to the chapter, to the college and go to national conferences and speak. So not only is it social but it does help you in your future.

    Nice vid, pretty clear! Would you say you actually learn something (like presentation training, organizing events, discuss issues in meetings, etc) or do you just become sort of a social guru?

    We’ve got a different system in Amsterdam, which is kind of hard to explain with only 220 characters remaining, but it’s an excellent way of combining both learning and drinking yourself to death..

    BTW, you’re in my graduation paper, hope you don’t mind, but either way you can take it as a compliment ;)
