Does a rivals top 100 football recruit stand a good chance of making it to Harvard or other top colleges?

Okay now lets say the recruit has a 3.2 GPA and a 1620 overall SAT score (reading, writing and math). Despite all of that, does he stand a good chance of getting into Harvard, Princeton or Yale because of his athletic achievements?

Lets say the

guy is ranked number 5 on the list of the nation’s top 100 football players.

Rivals recruits are usually guys who play football at major colleges and universities, they get into schools like UGA and UCLA because of their ability to play football but they have 3.1 type GPAs and average SAT scores.
NM: Thank you, also, can you play ivy league football if you did not play football in high school?

Nope. The Ivy League may get its name from its divisional conference, but when’s the last time you saw any of them seriously competing for a bowl championship? They’ve got too many genuine scholar-athletes in other sports – not to mention smart potential players who might not be NFL quality but can hold their own on the field – to bother with someone who can’t make the grade.
